By enrolling your child and making payment for lessons with Rockley Music, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Enrolment
When enrolling onto any of our music courses at school, your payment secures a place for your child for the relevant half term period.
Places are reserved specifically for each student and lesson availability is based on the number of places booked.
Enrolment must be completed in advance through the Rockley Music website.
2. Payment
Rockley Music will automatically debit your registered card via FuturePay prior to the start of each subsequent half term, up to six times per academic year.
You can cancel your FuturePay agreement by contacting Rockley Music at any time. Cancelling the FuturePay payment agreement does not itself cancel your child’s place or remove any payment that is already due under these Terms & Conditions.
If money is taken by Rockley Music in error, a full refund of that payment will be issued.
3. Cancelling Your Child’s Place
A half term’s notice is required to cancel your child’s place.
If you wish your child to stop lessons, please contact Rockley Music as soon as possible by email or telephone. Your child’s place will remain active and payable during the applicable notice period.
Once a half term has started and a place has been reserved for your child, payments for that half term are non refundable, subject to your statutory rights and except where Rockley Music agrees otherwise.
This is because places are allocated in advance, tutor time is committed and the number of lesson places available is limited.
Any refund or cancellation request will be considered in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and applicable consumer law.
4. Student Absence and Missed Lessons
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson for any reason, the lesson remains payable and no reimbursement can normally be made.
This includes absence due to illness, school trips, other school activities, holidays or any other circumstances affecting an individual student’s attendance.
Wherever possible, we will continue to make reasonable efforts to provide catch up opportunities for students who have missed lessons, but these cannot be guaranteed.
5. School Closures and Disruption
Occasionally lessons may be affected by circumstances outside Rockley Music’s reasonable control, including school closures, restricted access to the school, school events or other disruption.
Where possible, Rockley Music will make reasonable efforts to rearrange affected lessons or provide an appropriate alternative.
6. Lessons Cancelled by Rockley Music
If a Rockley Music tutor is unable to deliver a scheduled lesson, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement tutor or rearrange the lesson.
Where Rockley Music is unable to provide the lesson or a reasonable alternative, an appropriate credit or reimbursement will be provided.
7. Tutors, Safeguarding and Insurance
All Rockley Music tutors are appropriately DBS checked, insured and professionally trained through Rockley Music Education.
Tutors are expected to comply with Rockley Music safeguarding procedures and the relevant policies and procedures of the schools in which they work.
8. Changes to Lessons
As lessons take place within schools, lesson times, rooms, tutors and schedules may occasionally need to change.
Rockley Music reserves the right to make reasonable changes where necessary to continue providing the service. Where a significant change affects your child’s lessons, we will communicate this to you where possible.

11. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects or limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
12. Agreement
By enrolling and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the payment, cancellation and absence provisions.
Rockley Music reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary. Any material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated as appropriate.
